New Vehicle

Yeah so I have a dilemma. I can't decide whether I want to get a new motorcycle or a car. I have a car, but it is starting to give me problems, so I want to get a new car. But I have wanted a motorcycle for as long as I can remember. If I got a motorcycle I would keep my crappy car so I can drive in all weather, or if I just don't want to drive the motorcycle. I would save alot of gas with the motorcycle. Then again I don't want to pay for 2 insurances. So if I just had a motorcycle, I wouldn't have access to a car when it rains or storms, or when I am taking people places. Like on dates and such... like that ever happens, haha. How weird would it be to have the girl drive me everywhere, it would just feel wrong. It is a hard choice, motorcycles are cheaper to buy and to maintain(and I have wanted one for forever), but with a car I can drive in all weather and take people with me. This has vexed me.

Yeah I have ALMOST made up my mind to just break down into a little girlie girl and get a car. Yeah and the second one probably won't happen unless there is some monetary benefits involved... thats money amy lynn ;)

Have ever told you about the time I was 20 and all I had was a motorcycle - a black Yamaha Maxim 650 - a shaft drive. I had only had chains before - that shaft had some great torqe on take off! But I digress.

For a year I had to borrow friends cars to go on dates, or many times I went to the girls house and we took her car (but I drove - that's the manly thing to do :) One girl asked that we ride my bike on our date - I'll not mention her name because you know her.

Many times I was cold, or wet, or cold AND wet when I arrived at my destination. But I was cool no matter what (at leat in my eyes).

At a college/career Rosebowl party, all the guys were into the football games and the girls doing their chit chat thing. I'm not a sports enthusiast (as you may know) so I was just hangin' around when one of the chicks asked if I could take her for a ride on my bike. Now my momma didn't raise no fool, so I said "um..er..uh..you betchya!". Of course, this brought on one request after another from the ladies in the group and I had found my calling! If I were you, I'd go for the bike - but that's just me. :-)
