Long Time No Post
So yeah I must issue a formal apology to the press for the major lack of recent postage. Sorry all you loyal citizens of blogdom. *sarcasm drips from mouth*
I have been pretty busy this semester with college and 2 jobs, but now I have no college and one job, and plan to be more active in the future. I am currently toying with a site at WordPress and I am liking the different features and things you can fool with. Don’t know if I will transfer my blog there or not, I will toy around with it a little more to see if I can get it how I want it. So I bought a rifle awhile back at the gun show when it came to town. I love it; it’s a .270 Remington 700. Also killed my first deer a few weeks ago. It was a big doe, 180 pounds. Shot her in the neck at about 100 yrds, so all the meat was ok. So I am officially a redneck I guess.
I also got a haircut, might not seem like a big deal, but my profile picture is rather old. My hair went from shoulder length, brown, black, and ratty; to above the ears like in the above picture. Yes tragic I know, takes some getting used to, but I think it’s growing on me. Here is the old hair.

The Media
Well I haven't posted in awhile, so I decided that it is about time for a little blogging. And since I was already thinking on this subject, because of my poor little sister being misled, I will now start the rant. Well I don't think it is much of a secret to most sane people, but the majority of the media corporations are owned or funded by the liberal elite. Therefore the majority of the media have a liberal slant to them and thus their presentation to the public. And being that the liberal leaders of the Democratic party have openly and quite publicly said that they want us to lose the war in Iraq because they have bet their entire political career on the war being a bad thing. (note: not exact words, the jist of a lot of twisted political jargon) So the majority of the media show the war as being hopeless, violence getting worse despite the troop surge, morale weakening, and so on. Mainly painting the entire thing in the worst way they can. As if war needed help on that. Well despite all the crap that was spewing forth out of the Democratic leader's mouths around the time General Petraeus was reporting to Congress. Not to mention their treatment of him was despicable. Not to mention the moveon.org ordeal which, oh by the way Hilary Clinton started. Weird coincidence, that a completely liberal media group, that is bashing a General in our military, would have been started by a leader in the Democratic party. huh, go figure. Anyway, what the media groups are not showing at all is that the troop surge is working effectively. Violence is down 70%. (note: even in this article look at what is said the very next line after announcing this good news...haha, its just so blatant its humorous) That’s a good chunk if I may make that observation. I wonder why the media isn't telling the American people this great news? What could be the reason?

Biggest Day in Entertainment History!
So I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would tell you lovely people what I have been up to lately. Well if you don't know that Halo 3 was launched September 25th. That day is a day that will forever be heralded as the most important day in entertainment history. You can read a bit more about how big that day really was here, but lets just say it smashed every previous sales record in the entire entertainment industry. I waited at GameStop from 9pm until midnight on the 24th for the midnight release. You might not know what I am talking about or be wondering why this particular game is such a big deal. If you are any kind of a gamer or know anyone who is a gamer you know that the Halo series is the most popular game in the world. Millions of people around the world have played Halo 2 for the past 3 years and have logged more than 750 million hours playing over Xbox Live. That’s over 85,616 years worth of time! The Halo franchise has such a huge fan base that it is referred to as the Halo Nation. Now the epic conclusion of the trilogy is upon us, prepare yourself.

Free Healthcare
Yay! Hilary Clinton and the liberals have a plan to get us free healthcare! This is great! Now we will be just like England and Canada!...I am tired of hearing about this crap. Plus it has been amplified by that fool Michael Moor's new film, 'Sicko'. People see this film that is full of false facts and twisted truths, and suddenly think that is the answer to all the problems we have with our current health care system. When in fact that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Not that our system at present is even close to being what it should be, but this avenue of universal health care is far worse. I read a nice article about this type of healthcare trying to be established in Wisconsin. Needless to say it is not the rosy picture the liberals try to paint it as. First off the “free” healthcare will not be free at all, our taxes will skyrocket in order to pay for it. Second the quality of the health care will quickly decrease due to the lack of competition, drive, and monetary incentive. Just look at Canada, their doctors come to the U.S. all the time to make a living and to have procedures done because they make jack up there. Third it will take forever to get anything done, whether it is a major thing or not. There are countless stories from England and Canada where the patients had to pay to come to the U.S. to get heart surgery or cancer, or any other kind of major operation done. And that is because they have to wait months before they can even be looked at, and after that they must wait months before they can be operated on. Why? Because since it is “free” anyone can go to the hospital for anything they want because they don’t have to worry about paying for it, thus extremely long waits. Last and maybe the most important reason this healthcare plan sucks is because it will be run by the government. The government can do few things right such as the military, and maybe the mail. But beyond that, don’t hold your breath. It is arguably the easiest way for socialism to get a strong foothold in our country. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be a socialistic society, unlike the current socialistic liberals heading the Democratic party.
