Best Spring Break Ever!!!!

So I just got back from possibly the best spring break of my entire life. I worked every day except for one. That one day I spent running around town looking/applying/begging for a new job. Work was horrible this week for some reason, might have been the fact that I had to work more hours because my coworkers suddenly have problems coming to work. Or because Saturday, the busiest day imaginable, we were a man down, because he had to go and do his Air Force training. (he is in the reserved, thus one weekend a month he has to train) So the wonderful time of relaxation is over and school starts up again. Papers are assigned and tests pop up. Life is back to normal. Yay. Its times like these that I just want to join the military or go live in the mountains with the Mountainmen. If just to get some change in life. It has gotten so darn monotonous. Go to class in the morning, , go to my job, that I don't like, but need to pay for college....uhg...At least my boy Will has my back. Lifted my spirits a bit with Blades of Glory last night...I feel a political rant coming in the near future...dun..dun...dunnnnn.

Freakin Filter

Well my posts are now going to be fewer because of the fact that the filter on my PC is homosexual. Hard to imagin that is even remotely possible, but in this day and age, you can be whatever you think you are. Sad really... But anyway, the friendly B-Safe Online people decided they wanted to up and block blogger. So there, I can no longer blog at home or even look at others blogs. I must go up to college and use their computers now. Because their computers have heterosexual internet filters on them. huh, go figure. Anyhoo, it really ticks me off, and I am about to go balistic and just delete the filter, and dounload some free filter that doesn't work near as well. But atleast I will be able to blog and go to facebook. hah! Why haven't I already done this? Well thats because my PC is the used as the main internet source at our house, since the family PC died in flames. So my Pops decided to put this amazing filter on my PC, yay. It even blocked my email once, the filthy pirates! But until I rebel and do a coupe, my blog will most likely be boring and have nothing of substance to it. What was that? Not much of a change you say? I spit on you! *patooey*

God's Plan

Computer programmer, software engineer, game designer, writer, member of the U.S. military, web designer, movie/game reviewer, member of a band, skateboard professionally, radio personality, run my own business, hardware technician. Those are all things that I could see myself doing for a living and being happy and content doing them. But I can’t remember when I sat down and asked God what He wants me to do with my life. What direction, what field he wants me to go into. I have always had some sort of carefully laid out plan that I have laid out and said I was going to do. That plan has changed several times, but I have always been the one steering the ship here. I know that you can serve God in any field, and have always thought that God has put certain interests and desires in my heart for a reason. But I have never sat down and prayed about it. I got scared and thought, “What if I have been going in the wrong direction this whole time? What if I have been wasting time and going the wrong way?” Does He want me to be a computer geek? Does He want me to serve my country? Does He want me to go a totally different direction than I have ever even considered? So if you are a praying person, would you please say a prayer for me, I need some direction from God. I don’t want to be wasting my time.

Draft

So I have heard from several “political” leaders that we will most likely eventually be in a full-scale war with Iran. There has also been speculation that all Iraq was ever about was Iran. My Dad read a article by some analyst that said there is a high chance that the U.S. will be at war with Iran in 5-10 months. All that was not meant to scare you, just to lead up to my point. There has long been talk of enacting the draft to help in Iraq and to end the war, but that’s another story in itself. If there is a draft I will be on the first boat out, for several reasons. First, I not only have several siblings, but I have a brother, which means I am not the only male child in my family. Plus I am the older of the 2 male children in the family. Second, I am pretty much physically fit, in good health, and have no physical problems or anything. I am of the ripe draft age of 20, and I don’t have flat feet. There is no way on earth I won’t be drafted. So just to let you guys know in advance, if there is even talk of a draft, I am just going to join up. To get the waiting over with and also because I would get the bonuses and benefits that come along with signing up, that you don’t get when you are drafted. To be honest it really wouldn’t bother me, because as some know I have been very close, 2 or 3 times, to joining the military. I just always found some reason not to, the first time being I didn’t want to cut my hair (haha). The second time was because I prayed about it and didn’t feel God was leading me at that time. The third was because I want to at least have a degree before I haul off and quit school. So blam! drafted!

Iraq War

I am sick of hearing and seeing all these political figures bash the war and bash the President. Just to put this out there, so far this war in Iraq is the most well run war in all of American history. So far this war has the least casualties and constant success on the battlefront. We haven’t lost a battle yet! People wake up! We are fighting terrorists. Hence the name, they fight with terror. They can’t stand up to us; they hide in the shadows behind innocent civilians and blow things up. Their only hope is to demoralize our country and our troops before we annihilate them! And you know what? Their most potent weapon is in America! That’s right, its right here, and nobody seems to want it take care of it. Terrorists number one go-to man, the Media. They help the Radical Islamist’s more than anything else. They harp on American deaths, the bombs, the civilian casualties, and show Terrorist video. Hey media, wake up, its war! People die, there are civilian casualties, and it takes time. That might sound really insensitive and inhumane, but its fact. Don’t get me wrong, I am the first person to honor and support our brave soldiers. But death is regretfully apart of war; they are doing their job, which is protecting the griping politicians here in America. Not to say that you can’t cover stories about death and bombs and such, but why only that? Why don’t we see stories about all the victories and about the success? About how we are pounding the terrorists into the ground and they are running out of places to hide? I will tell you why, because the media obviously wants us to fail in Iraq. Whether you agree or disagree with the war, Republican or Democrat, none of that matters. Get over it. We are there and we must win, if we don’t we will have more 9-11’s and we will be fighting them here. That might work out for some people though, because then we wouldn’t have to leave our country to fight them before they get to our people. Because you know that is such a pain. If we were fighting them on our own soil, the politicians would be saying we need to kill them and win. It frustrates me to no end. Pulling out would be devastating to that region. Not only would Iraq go right back where it is, but also many other countries, who are holding on to a hope that they can win against these radical Islamist. Then it will be 20 times harder to take them out because they will have so many countries to hide in. Not just Pakistan, Iran and Syria, but Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and others. In conclusion, I say tell the politicians and the media to shut up and let the generals and men in the military with actual spine take care the decision making in the war.

Cussing

Ok so, lets just skip the crap and get right to it. What makes a cuss word a cuss word? Why is it "cussing" when you say sh*t, and not when you say crap? Is it the tone or intent of your words? You can say crap with the same intent and ferocity that you say sh*t with. Why are those words cuss words and all the rest not? Why do I feel compelled to write sh*t and not cr*p? Is it because I don't want to offend anyone, or because I have been taught that it is a bad word? I just don't understand the whole "that’s a bad word don't say it," when its a word like all rest. Shucks, shoot, snap , son of a sea-snail....what’s the difference? Really...what is the actual difference? It can't be the definition of the words, I mean come on, b*tch= female dog, wow, that’s just got to be the worst cut down ever. Whoever elected that word to be one of the worst in our vocabulary needs to be shot. Ok I think its over now...yeah I'm done.

Il Spirituale Lottare

~I know its kinda long, but if any of you suckers actually read it, I would appreciate any feedback. I don't know if I am finished with it yet, but here it is.

Il Spirituale Lottare

Our faces glistened with perspiration as our chests rose and fell heavily. I looked up to survey the scene around me. Some of our wounded brothers staggered to their feet, with determination in their eyes. The night is now upon us, the day passed in a bloody flurry of battle. The enemy has sent wave after wave of their troops to weaken us, for they know we are the stronger warriors. We assemble yet again and face the last onslaught of the enemy. Our cavalry, though now few in number to do much affliction to the enemy’s army, charge towards their ranks. Our cavalry have done all that they could to the enemy as they plow through their ranks. We see the cavalry overwhelmed and fighting for their lives. With all speed we rush to our brother’s aid. With a deafening battle cry we fall upon our enemy with such force that it separates their ranks and throws them into disarray. We reach the cavalry and find that the enemy has devoured some, yet some remain. The enemy falls on us once more. The battle rages on at a furious pace. There have been many casualties, but we are gaining ground. Hope of victory raises my spirits as I see the bright, red sun rising over the distant hill. But I am deceived; it is the torches of another large host of enemies. Enemies much stronger than those we have been fighting. An enemy who’s hearts have been darkened with a desire to destroy and corrupt. They have thrown their weaker troops at us to weaken and tire our ranks. As I turn I see a massive host rapidly advancing on our flank. We are surrounded without hope of escape, nor of survival, yet we stand strong. We must hold! We must fight for truth! We have been drawn into a clever trap by the most devious of all villains. I look over the horizon and see naught but the seemingly endless ranks of the enemy. Where are our comrades? Where are our brothers? Then a familiar face in the enemy’s ranks catches my eye. Can it be? Yea a face I know well, and many others. Some of our brothers have disguised themselves by wearing the garb of the enemy. Betrayal! Deception! The scum will pay for their treachery! Indeed they have done their job too well, for I would not have known the difference between them and our enemy, if I did not know their faces. They watch as one by one we are devoured by the enemy. Those who I called kin! They do not want to compromise themselves or their selfish ambitions. I rally our remaining soldiers with a shout and with a sharp blow on my mighty horn. I shout above the sounds of battle, in a powerful voice I did not know I possessed. Those still loyal to the cross gather about me. We make our last, desperate stand atop a high hill in the middle of the battlefield. The demons fall upon us like rain. We struggle in vain as our strength begins to fail us. Just when all seemed lost and the night was at its darkest, a blinding radiance of the purest Light I had ever seen swept over the battlefield. The brilliant Light seemed sharper than any sword and could pierce to the very heart. When the Light receded all our enemies lay slain upon the ground. The fight has been won for us! Only those who had betrayed us were left. We gave a cheer and shout of triumph. When we looked at each other we saw that our raiment had changed. We were wearing such splendid armor! Made of the finest metals and adorned with the purest gold. Our swords were razor sharp and wonderfully deadly to behold! Our helmets were tall and decorated with magnificent stones of precious jewels! We ourselves also felt stronger and sturdier, not as one feels after fighting a long battle. Our eyes flickered with the remains, or perhaps some lasting reflection, of that Light. Our eyes rested on our brothers who had turned their back on us and the cross. They still had the appearance of the enemy; lucky for them that Christ looks to the heart. We were moved with pity for them, the anger was gone from our hearts. Pity that they had not the faith to stand firm against the enemy. Pity that they could not join us in celebrating our hour of triumph. We were resolved to help them to turn from their wicked ways and return to the path they had once trod. Did they not know? In the end, Christ is victorious.
